CIMEA is a new social startup, incorporated in the final months of summer 2024. Since our founding, we have made significant progress: establishing ourselves on campuses across the country, creating programming that enables effective dialogue, and developing connections between decision-makers and our most enterprising students. All of this has been accomplished in just a few short months, making now an even more exciting time to take an active role in supporting our development.

We are actively working every day to expand our presence to more campuses nationwide, creating spaces for students to engage in civil dialogue on the most pressing issues in the Middle East and across Africa. We are building a network of excellence, both in the students we empower and in the seasoned professionals collaborating with them. As our capabilities continue to grow, we have put a serious focus on capacity building for every student leader, whether through leadership trainings or personal conversations with experts who expand their breadth of knowledge. We believe it is imperative that the United States’ future leaders in foreign policy find spaces for civil dialogue on the most pressing debates concerning the Middle East and Africa. Moreover, it's critical that these same leaders are strengthened and prepared before entering the policy world.

While we have already achieved significant accomplishments, we continue to make great strides in building our organization and actively seek additional friends and partners to further widen our next strides.
